Beautiful, Eye-Catching Lampshade Finial from the 1930's. The perfect finishing touch to dress up an ordinary lamp. Consider combining this finial with the other set here in my closet to create a striking larger display. Finials are easily installed to securely hold your lampshade in place: simply screw onto the lamp harp after mounting your lampshade. The largest finial is a solid brass sphere with raised detailing around its base and measures 2" high and over 1" in diameter. This was invented by Paul Chilo of Chicago in 1935; the patent number is stamped on the brass. This fimial will fit modern harp mounts (standard 1/4 - 27 threaded hole).
