Beautiful unique quilt lovingly handcrafted as a gift in 2011. A clever variation on the classic 4-square pattern, this lovely spread uses a variety of fabrics in soft shades of yellow, green, blue, pink, and purple. The quilt top has 30 4-square patches, each with an appliquéd center square sewn down with a pretty flower motif. Surrounding this is a creamy pale yellow border, with a final border of light cornflower blue. A matching blue binding has been hand sewn to the quilt back. The backing is a striking floral pattern of pink, green, blue, purple, and gold on very pale pink. Most photos taken outside on a slightly overcast day. The last 3 were taken inside during daylight hours. The quilt measures 70” X 62”, making it useful as a large throw or a cover on a twin bed that allows pillows to be seen. In excellent condition with no signs of having been used. Consistent smoke- and pet-free environment. Thanks for looking, and please check back again soon.
