Often referred to as Puka Shells, this is an example of a heishi bead necklace made from the distinctive pink Luhanus shell. The beads are so perfectly matched that if you run your fingers from one end to the other, it almost feels solid and not like a stack of beads. 16.5" long, closes with a barrel clasp that looks like a replacement as it's shine is a contrast to the deep patina of the end beads.
