The Basanti label is QUALITY. Please look closely at the craftsmanship of this garment - such as the hand stitching around the neckline. Not a thread out of place. There is no tag which indicates the fiber content, but a thread test confirms that it is a natural fiber, and most likely silk. The lightweight, shimmering gold fabric is accented by geometric patterns, "painted" in thread and accented by a gold braid edging on cuffs and hem. The kurta (tunic) body is fully lined (the lining also appears to be silk), whereas the sleeves and the pants are unlined. The dupatta is a bold tangerine/red color, accented with gold thread design and braiding along the edges. Gorgeous! The size on the label reads, "M / 38" but please read the actual measurements and compare them with garments that fit you the way you feel most comfortable.
