Beautiful in it's simplicity, this Mezuzah Pendant Necklace Features Yemenite Pebbled Rope Filigree Art. I can only provide a guess on dating for this piece. I purchased this along with an Art Deco Star of David Pendant, and I want to say that this piece is from the 1940's-It very much looks and feels to be, however, that doesn't make sense for the time period, so my best guess is that this is Early 1950's post War, and Migration. I could be wrong, so- I leave discernment up to you as the buyer. Orign/Artist unsigned, Stamped ST. 925 This Pendant was originally on a Leather cord (at the time I purchased) While this piece could be for unisex, I am including a NEW 1.2mm 20" made in Italy Sterling Silver Cuban link chain (due to width, being more feminine than masculine) If this necklace is being purchase for a man to wear, the chain can always be repurposed (happy Wife happy Life😉). The ring bale on this Pendant is large enough to accommodate a heavier (2-2.5mm with a slim clasp) chain or cord more suitable for a man. Lovely Vintage condition, though does show signs of wear, and has beautiful naturally developed patina. Will ship with a Velvet Storage bag for safe keeping, as well as a cleaning cloth.
