fashionista_r @dezi7230 Hi - this jacket is pretty warm due to the soft fleece lining and wind and water resistant outer shell. It's great for windy, blustery cold weather but it's not designed for bitter cold that the depths of winter doles out. I'd say for commuting, outdoor activities like hiking or walking, this jacket would do well in 40's and 50's. I hope that helps!
