Now that your child watched Olympic fencing and decided like my son did in 2016 that they want to be a fencer, why not save some money and go with a (literally) twice-used mask? Clean and sweat-free, my son's head grew overnight (probably because I told him that he was so good at stabbing :)), so at 10, he needed the adult large. Sheesh! I hope your little epee, saber, or foil fencer can get much use out of this unused mask. I'm putting this in the Men's category but these masks are unisex and since my young son is still a kid, but has the head of an adult, I'm forced by Poshmark to choose. Why don't they have an athletics equipment section?
