This is an original World War II US canteen with covered pouch from 1943. This is a vintage collectible issued by the military. The steel canteen has a stamp on the bottom that reads US VOLLRATH 1943. The steel canteen has 2 small dents on the top front but is in working condition still. The plastic cap is intact and works exactly like it should. The outside pouch has a faint stamp of J.E.F.F. Q.M.D 1943 which stands for Jeffersonville Quarter Master Depot located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. They were responsible for producing and supplying various military equipment during the war. They started in 1860 and supplied during the Spanish-American War, WW I, WW II, and the Korean War. A great addition to any military enthusiast or collector of military memorabilia. Measures 8" tall by 7" wide and the bottom is 3.5" wide.
