This was stitched by my friend’s grandmother when she arrived in USA from Europe at the turn of the 20th century. Six inch blocks with 8 1/2” squares.Ground is a lovely turkey red tiny floral. There are several cross-stitched mends. Several areas where the stitches have come undone.Fade mark in center where it was folded. From a non smoking home where it was carefully stored for many years.
