Vintage GARFINCKEL'S Washington T.T. Mallo Crinkle Fabric Black Long Coat Sz 8 This coat is made by famed Washington, DC designer and department store founder, Julius Garfinkel. This lovely mid-length jacket seems (from label materials/style; lack of care tag evidence; garment cut and fabric; seams; the double button attachment technique;, and color choice) to be from circa 1970’s, possibly very early 1980's. This coat features a beautiful crinkled puffer style thick fabric (the pre-puffer) with oversized gold tone buttons and faux flap pockets. This union made vintage coat is stunning and in excellent condition (they don’t make things this way any longer!) If you love classic vintage style and quality, this piece has all that and more! This coat is in excellent condition with some minor scratches on the buttons (pictured) and the name tag is only sewn on one side.
