Antique stoneware crock, circa late 1800s or early 1900s. Canisters, jugs and crocks of this era were often salt-glazed, which gives them their glassy shine and textured surface. This one still has its metal and wood dowel handle! Complementary to any decor and/or a great addition to an existing collection. Measures 6” H. Diameter at base is 5, and diameter at rim is between 3 3/4” and 4”. The perfect size for tabletop or kitchen counter storage, e.g., utensils.
