Vintage Taxco Sterling and Abalone Leaf Screw Back Clip on Earrings

A stunning pair of clip on earrings made in Mexico by Taxco between 1948-1980. Marked on the back with an Eagle "3" stamp, and some other markings. Overall decent condition although one of the earrings looks like it may have a little bit of damage or wear to the abalone and is more white than rainbow. The reverse also appears to have a brass/gold toning that has some green areas. They measure about 1" long and 1/2" wide. The abalone is just so pretty!
