Was purchased new by me, smoke and pet free home. The only flaws I can find were there at purchase which is a slight white showing through the tips of the overall straps. There's a tiny bit of pilling where the buckle would have slid, although not at all noticeable when wearing, and based on how you wear your straps, will probably never be seen.
