Soft leather (some folding at top due to being NEW IN THE BOX!) Opening at top approx 6-6.5” with a small stretch portion. I would not call this a wide calf boot. These are ✨AMAZING✨ boots! Bundle up and look fantastic! ❤️ **For reference, my calves are 13 3/4” fully flexed and I am 5’9” with a 32” inseam.
