1960's wedding gown - worn once, cleaned and kept in dry cleaning box.
Murray Hamburger of New York, 1965 wedding gown. Size was for a woman 115# and 5'3". No alterations done. Worn one time. It is an elaborate champagne colored, taffeta gown, heavily encrusted with pearl and crystal trim on Alencon Lace, with rose trellis trim on the back, and 47 buttons! It is fashioned with a scalloped scoop neckline, elbow sleeves, and an obi back with rose trim. The dress extends into a cathedral train with hooks to pull up. It has been stored all these years in a wedding box (so yes, wrinkles in the pictures - please zoom in to see the wonderful detail). The lining under the dress is a bit yellow and the rose at the base of the back is crushed and not recognizable (yet can easily be cut as it is held on by micro strings; I have it paper clipped/pulled up for pictures).
