Brightly painted, almost neon small owl.figuring decorated with sea creatures including turtle, octopus and a fish. handmade by Oscar and Josefina Carrillo. Signed on the base. Alebrijes are hand carved and painted wooden figures hailing from the state of Oaxaca in the south of Mexico. The figures are generally carved from the wood of the local Copal tree, and adeptly decorated with acrylic paints. Measurements on photos. Weighs 2 oz before packaging.
