This t-shirt series is all about “ISMS” - a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, typically a political ideology or an artistic movement. This one is ESCAPISM!! The capsule as a whole is inspired by one of Abc's early t-shirt designs, “Purism,” which was an ode to a vintage David Hockney exhibition t-shirt. Each hand drawn design represents the abstract nature of any definition and its ability to be defined by (you) and redefined by (you). Sort of the contrary to what a definition is defined as, we at Abc. love few things more than a conceptual contradiction and creative ways of deconstructing what is.
