hst299 @connievalentine hi. Being that it is marked Mexico, I would assume genuine. Almost all 925 rings I have ever come across that were marked 925 or Sterling AND Mexico are genuine semi precious stones. There is always the possibility of sapphire or fiber optic glass but I never dug further to investigate. It’s a very unique, well crafted ring that is durable and ready for every day wear. I love it.. it just doesn’t fit like it used to. My fingers when down a size when I lost weight.

connievalentine is there a variation in the color? is it different shades of blue or solid colored? with the camera flash you can't quite tell.

hst299 It kept falling off during the summer. Now that we are back to winter it fits again. It’s proof my weight fluctuates with the seasons.
