Lunch at the Ritz Earwear, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Alexis Watts and Esme Hecht in Lake Katrine, New York. Watts served as president of the company, and Hecht was a vice president and lead designer. Another designer, Zander Elliot, later partnered with Hecht creating jewelry for the Lunch at the Ritz brand.
