Costume Ready Vintage Light Blue Glass Rhinestone Necklace

Vintage, guessing 1940s, maybe earlier! This is such a beautiful & unique necklace. I wish I could see what it looked like about 80 years ago! The obvious signs of age and wear make this the perfect necklace to top off a Halloween or Cosplay costume! The light blue rhinestones appear to be glass; one is chipped which makes it look sunken in (pointed out in pic #10). The rectangular rhinestones all have some discoloration on the underside which looks like black spots, the darkest one pointed out in pic #9. One tiny stone missing towards the back of the necklace (pic #11). The metal back side of the necklace looks like it was originally dark or black, which is worn off significantly, and the hook is rust colored (no rust color transfer). On me, the necklace sits close to the neck but not choker style. Please see pic #8 for approximate measurement and your fit. I really, truly love this necklace, even on the fence about selling, but I hope somebody will enjoy and have fun with it! You can be sure there will be no other like it.
