Heavy stoneware pottery having no chips or cracks, on bottom paint peeled but you can still read makers mark: McCoy USA, pai t faded on colored red roosters at bottom. lid fits wonky - it's original no chips no cracks but lid seems to be higher on left side. rare McCoy Circa 1945
