The material used is ceramic, and the item is brand new and never used. The color is sort of an off white, made using white clay, with black designs on them. One of the octopus designs includes a little bit of brown glaze. 7 of the pieces are double sided with a unique design on each side hand designed. Each has a hole in it to add a ring or string onto your jewelry creations. The octopus components each have 2 holes in them. Heart, triangle, round, oval and octopus design and shapes.
