Intarsia knit has a nice hand feel, substantial without being chunky or bulky. Pit to pit would fit most as the "pits" start just above the waist. Waist and bottom opening are about 13" lying flat and unstretched. Fabric does not have a whole lot of stretch. Generally excellent condition considering its age with no holes or stains. NOTE: As we all know, acrylic will start pilling if you look at it hard enough. The garment has some extremely minimal pilling but it is not noticeable. Feel free to ask any questions.
