Amazing Y2K era blazer from BEBE - I haven’t been able to find anything else like it, and the lack of size and material tags lead me to believe that it *may* have been a sample piece? Either way, it is such a unique take on the classic pinstripe blazer. This is a perfect example of the “over-tailored” look, as if the Mad Hatter himself had deconstructed your regular office siren pinstripe jacket and turned it into something even more daring - these seams mean business and by business I mean a SNATCHED waist. The sheer over-abundance of seams and tucks are each highlighted by embroidered yellow, orange, and periwinkle blue threads - a truly diabolical choice of color scheme, and yet it is somehow the most perfect work of art you could possible ask for. No lining, does have some mild stretch. All edges are raw but sewn. The pockets are real, and the buttons are natural mother of pearl shell. It doesn’t get classier than that.
