This unisex necklace features (left to right), first a book charm, for the diary Winston keeps, an offense he knows is punishable by death in Oceania. Next is an eye charm, for the constant surveillance the Party maintains over its citizens. Then comes a TV charm, for the telescreens in every room that both receive and transmit images. In the center is a book cover pendant. To its right is a heart charm, engraved with "Winston & Julia", but with a slash dividing them, since the torture and brainwashing of Big Brother split Winston and Julia apart. Next is a mustache, for the mustachioed face of Big Brother. Last is a wine bottle charm, since the wine served by O'Brien serves as a symbol of rebellion against the Party.
