Vintage Victorian Portrait Decorative Tin

Vintage red and gold collectible tin with a portrait of a Victorian girl, made by Guildcraft Sunshine. Measuring approximately 12" in diameter and 3" deep, the tin has an exterior design of red and gold crosshatching with star-like symbols at each intersection. The combination of red and gold colors adds to the piece's sophistication and elegance; the red color brings a sense of warmth to the pattern, while the gold adds that touch of old-timey luxury and glamour. I am not certain of the age of this piece; my best guess is somewhere in the mid-20th century. The exterior of the tin is in good condition given its age; the portrait of the Victorian girl shows some wear consistent with age in that the paper is a bit wrinkled and not completely flat against the center of the tin. Try as I might, I could not get the tin to open. I'm sure if I tried more I could loosen it eventually, but I didn't want to risk damaging it or altering it in anyway. You'll see that there is a bit of wear on the tin consistent with age; I gently washed it inside and out with warm water and some dish soap. Other than that, it was not otherwise polished or restored -- since this is vintage metal, I prefer to leave the more intensive cleaning to the buyer since everyone has a difference preference for stuff like this. Some vintage grime is too good to get rid of!
