Vintage Simon Sassoon "Shape" sterling silver Swiss quartz watch. Watch features a substantial solid sterling silver round case with modernist silver-tone dial, which is marked, "Simon Sassoon" and "Swiss Movt" at the bottom edge. The caseback is marked, "Shape, 925 Silver, Swiss Movt., Simon Sassoon." Has the original crocodile embossed Italian leather strap. The watch case measures approx. 30.8mm across excluding the crown, and the total length of the watch with leather strap is approx. 8 1/2" (maximum wrist size of approx. 7”). Watch is in good vintage condition with light scuffs and minor scratches to the sterling case and light wear to the leather strap. I can see some tiny imperfections in the crystal, but they are not noticeable to me without magnification. Watch has a new battery and keeping time. Just a very cool vintage sterling watch!
