It does have sign of wear in the leather. Also some patina. Beautiful cover, I used it for my Hobonichi A5 - 5 year journal. This cover fits a Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo book. Holds a pen inside by its clip. Uses natural leather and changes color over time as it ages.
