"Vivid Elegance: The Blue-Headed Parrot" Description: This hand-colored copperplate engraving from the late 18th century showcases the vibrant beauty of the Blue-Headed Parrot. Crafted by the talented William Hayes. The illustration is part of the first systematic record of a private collection of live birds from Osterly Park. Published in the seminal work "Portraits of Rare and Curious Birds" in 1794 by Bulmer of London, for the benefit of Hayes' family, this artwork stands as a fine example of ornithological illustration. The parrot is depicted with a richly detailed blue head that transitions smoothly into a green body, with striking red patches on the wings. The bird is perched upon a branch, gazing alertly out from the page, embodying a blend of curiosity and dignity. The backdrop features a serene landscape with muted colors that highlight the bird's vivid plumage. The aged paper, with its natural patina, adds character to the print.

Done. Contact Ginnie and tell her you are a friend of Maximilian in L.F. who has a few parachute friends in L.F. and Gramercy, who hobnob with Libby. We would greatly appreciate this favour.

Apologies, from yesterday. You seem so kind and generous, and I just want to help you get the sandals you want. If you are reluctant to contact them on Monday morning, I would be honored to call them myself, get them and list them here for you. I do tell the truth and love to help people that help others. Take good care if you decide not to respond. BTW. you have incredible taste.

Additionally, I not only share your passion for ornithology, but also animals in general. We have many pets, including an Alusky with heterochromatic eyes from his Malamute/Husky parents, akc dogs and rare breeds of Himilayan/Persian cats. Wishing you continued success in all present and future passions/endeavors.
