Years ago, I was a passenger on the back of my husband's bike. We were in Boston. We rode in the winter as well as in the summer. This jacket is HEAVY. And if you add the extra hooded insert, you will definitely be toasty. It is a size M (as is the hooded insert). I think I only wore it three or four times before we moved south. It has been in storage ever since then. No callouts. No odor. Smoke-free home. This is a beautiful item.
