The jacket is gathered at the waist across the back and the gathers come around to the front past the side seams on each side of each front and ends close to the patch pockets on the front. Please look at measurements: shoulders~20”; nape to bottom 29.76”; sleeve length armpit to cuff ~17”; pit to pit across back without stretching the elastic in the back of the jacket~ 22”; at the waistline on the front at the gathers ~18”.
