This is a Vintage York Peppermint Patties Collectible Tin. In 1988, Hershey acquired YORK peppermint patties as part of its purchase of Cadbury Schweppes U.S. confectionery operations. This tin is unique. It is approximately 6 1/2" long by 2 3/4" by 1 1/2" and is hinged to open as shown in the pictures. It has a soft velvety lining and would make a unique eyeglass case. What a conversation piece that would be admired by others when you bring it out to retrieve your glasses. This would also make a great addition to your Tins Collection.
