...cherry blossom viewing party A very pretty Japanese coffee pot or wine carafe, the sides of the pot are transfer decorated in blue on the white body with a large group of Japanese ladies in kimono, enjoying the cherry blossoms in spring. The blue transfer with some smudging, which would have happened during production. The art nouveau styled handle with some openwork, the body and bottom in a flowing ´skirted´ shape. It has been signed underneath.....Made by Katayama....? The item is in good condition without chips or breaks.
