Vintage Karen Lynne 12K GF Scarab Bracelet

Vintage Karen Lynne 12K gold filled scarab bracelet. The history of Karen Lynne jewelry trademark began in 1954 when Charles Rothman opened his family business in Providence, Rhode Island. Traditionally, the company made high-quality handcrafted costume jewelry with the use of 12 and 14K gold, sterling silver, genuine jade, scarab stones, and cultured pearl. Their line was very popular in the 60s and 70s. They ceased to exist in 1994. This bracelet, given to me in 1959, is in excellent condition, as would be expected from a single owner. Notice the double chain with clasp closure. I have seen that Karen Lynne followed that tradition with all bracelets. This piece is lovely. And, scarabs are symbols of rebirth, resurrection, transformation, and growth. So. that's a big plus!
