I have a few hundred matchbooks and matchboxes that were collected in the 80s and early 90s. Most of them are from the Los Angeles area and include iconic restaurants like Mr. Chow, Gladstone’s, Factor’s, The Red Onion, Geoffrey’s Malibu, Farrell’s Ice Cream, Don the Beachcomber, Lawry’s, Charley Brown’s, The Rusty Harpoon and Coconut Teaszer. Hotels include: Hotel Bel-Air, Disneyland Hotel, Beverly Wilshire, Mondrian, Hollywood Roosevelt. Fashion includes: Gucci and The Limited. There are two from the Playboy Clubs, one is 20th London anniversary and the other is 25th (no location). Some are used, various condition and have been stored in shoeboxes.
