Zipper on the side, Front slit at the bottom and touching detail at waist on both sides. Button closure on the front that is sealed. Buttons cannot be done and undone. You can slip on the dress or use the side zipper. Not sure what the fabric is, but it mimics a cotton, lin3n type of fabric. Worn once and in excellent condition.
