This is a coin and 2 pin set. These type of items were distributed by the US Forest Service since the 1980s and they continue to produce them, I believe these are older, but tough to tell, selling as is.. These were given out at parks and events to help promote the prevention of Forest Fires. The coin has Smokey on the front and says, "Only you can prevent forest fires", on the other side it says: "National Association of State Foresters and the US Forest Service", "always break Matches in two", "be sure fires are out cold", "Crush all smokes dead". The two pins are plastic and one is the image of Smokey's Head and the other Has Smokey and his two Bear Cub Friends and the bigger of the pins is about 1.4" inches wide.
