This is hands down the finest item in my closet today. This Filson Mackinaw Cruiser can be dated to the early 1940s by the pocket configuration, union made labels in the yoke and hand warmer pocket, and enameled snaps. There’s not a scuff, scrape, or nick anywhere on this jacket. I brought it into the Filson flagship store in Seattle and they confirmed the date range and were actually kinda sad they didn’t have anywhere to display it in the store. Virtually nothing has held its condition for over 80 years, to say nothing of clothing. It’s really something to behold. This rare and extremely high quality vintage piece is priced accordingly. There’s no size label and honestly given the age even if there was it wouldn’t be relevant to modern standards. Measurements are in photo (48” pit to pit). I’d call that a Large by modern standards. All my items are described as accurately as possible and come from a smoke-free, fragrance-free, pet-free home.
