The heel is PERFRCT, and they are extremely comfortable to wear not to mention classy and timeless so I ordered both the Black Patent and in the Pink Lizard Emboss and while I loved both, I had to reorder a half size up and just got behind in returning. The receipts are included in the boxes and I returned both for a half size up to an 8 1/2 (not the roomy 8). Definitely my go to shoes and they could be yours too! I wear mine everywhere and they can be dressed up or down.
