Do they run big? Or are they true to size 8.5?

@naloijos this is from adidas website - “How Do adidas Sambas Fit? adidas Sambas have a regular fit, but some people find them to be slightly narrow. If you have wider feet, go up half a size for a little more room”
HOWEVER i personally feel that they run slightly big. I’m usually an 8-8.5 but take an 8 in Sambas and they’re very mildly loose and fit better with a regular/ thick sock (not a thin sock)
