Zen Buddhist Diety Guardian Pendant

I'm not sure what this thing is but it's cool. Hole is too small to be a key fob, plus it's in plastic. The metal is goldtone so maybe brass or bronze. I believe it's vintage but not sure how old. Intriguing and fascinating.
