WATERFORD METROPOLITAN Crystal Picture Frame / 10.5 Inches For 5x7 Inch Photo

Waterford Crystal started producing the finest quality hand cut crystal in Ireland in 1783. Rising production costs forced the company to move production overseas in 2009 but pieces like this German-made frame are produced to Waterford’s exacting standards. This is an elegant Waterford crystal frame in the discontinued Metropolitan pattern which has a very ‘Art Deco’ feel to it. The frame itself measures 7 3/4 by 10 5/8 inches and is made for a 5x7 inch photo. The frame is meant to be displayed vertically and is in excellent condition. The easel backing is nice and tight and holds up this heavy crystal frame perfectly. The original UPC label is on the easel back, the foil seahorse label is on the front and the Waterford logo is acid etched on the bottom. The logo has a seahorse as part of it which dates this frame to between 2000 and 2008 when Metropolitan was discontinued.
