Givenchy Antigona Tote Black Lasercut Over Leather White Canvas Lining The lasercutting on this bag is so intricate and beautiful that I’ve been asked if it’s an Alaïa - though the shape tells you right away that it’s a Givenchy Antigona tote. (I know about this stuff and even I’ve gotten confused at first glance! See my listings!). The classic triangular Givenchy logo is one giveaway! The laser-cutting is the star and statement here, for sure. - though there are stars in its repeating geometric pattern, which is also reminiscent of Japanese designer Issey Miyake’s Bao Bao bags and totes (see my listings!). Unlike most Alaias, though, this bag is lined in white which I like for both the black and white contrast but also for privacy and security’s sake. I don’t have to worry what people may see inside my bag! Therefore I can throw it on without thinking through where I’m going and who will be there - it’s just easier. For having so many cut-outs, it’s a surprisingly sturdy and architectural tote. It has more flexibility but it still keeps its shape and it has a nice heft to it that I was worried it would be lacking. Definitely not too delicate to actually wear which was my concern! It’s still in excellent condition despite being used! So you’re sure to get a lot if life out of it! Please see interior staining from a spill in the photos.
