Here is a set of six shot glasses by Federal Glass company. The Park Avenue pattern with two golds on the rim and a thin one below it. The glass shape is lovely with tight ribs and pressed on the interior. Each has a thick, weighted base, strong enough to prevent shattering in case a drinker slams their shot glass after a drink. Each of the six measures, 2 1/8 inch tall, with a 1 3/4 inch top diameter, 1 glass can hold one ounce to the thin gold band below the rim, or a full 1.5 ounce shot to the top. These are the uncommon shape with a round base not squared or star shape. They could also serve as sake glasses. They're all in very good condition with just some minor wear to the gold trim on the top line of gold only. Very normal for a mid century piece. The trim is likely 22 karat gold for which the federal glass is know. After checking very, very closely and with magnification 5 times. I found only one very light scratch on two of the glasses that I would not have seen without holding up to a light and magnifying it. So 4 are in perfect condition and two with one light scratch. I have taken such into the pricing of these glasses. On the underside on only one could I see the federal glass company logo of a shield with F in the center. Age has worn the symbol down. These would be a great compliment to a usable collector of mid century glass and bar ware. Non smoking pet free home.
