There are two small tears in the piping, which I used a TEENY amount of leather glue just to glue the loose flaps down. I cleaned with Lexol #1 and a good amount of black came off on the rag. I suspect polish has been used on it but am not 100% certain. I then cleaned with saddle soap to remove as much of the colorant as possible, then conditioned with Leather CPR. The brass ring where the chain connects to the wallet was hanging out of the hole when I got it. I popped it back in, but I’m not sure that it’s totally secure. The ring connecting the carabiner to the chain is silver-toned instead of brass. There’s also a small white dot on back that did not come off with cleaning and conditioning, but I’m not sure what it is, and an indentation mark on the interior of the flap where the zipper sits.
