Striking chains and gold tone antique-looking metal work. This measures 16" end to end and the center medallion is 1.5" high x 1.25 wide. The side medallions are 1" high x 1.25 wide. The hook allows it to adjust and be much shorter, to as small as 11". There are 22 garnet gems; 1 small stone is missing on one of the side medallions, but that is hard to see since the hole that it sits in is dark. There are a variety of chain styles combined for an even more antiqued look. This is very much like a vintage chokers that are not costume jewelry! This is from my mom's boutique in Philadelphia back in the day. I don't think it was ever worn.
