keyport7 @caitlinelise17x hi, it is 30 in in length and it's pretty soft and flexible it's not like a stiff sweater. I don't think you would have to wear anything under it but that would be a personal preference I would think. it feels like a typical men's sweater would feel. let me know if you have any other questions.
