Antique Miller Vestal brass table lamp, electrified

Gorgeous Miller Vestal #2 electrified oil table lamp with shade holder. It works! Miller’s Vestal #2 design was patented in 1902 and used until approximately 1916. The Vestal included a thumbwheel wick and a punched three-leaf clover pattern around the base. Like many brass items from this time, this is a rose brass because of its high copper content. Made in USA. Approx. 12” to top of prongs. Base is 6” in diameter. Thumbwheel still turns and oil reservoir lid is still unscrewable. Average signs of wear and tarnish. A few small dents, but otherwise in excellent condition. (The lamp shade in the sixth photo is not included. For reference, it’s 10 inches in diameter and nestles perfectly in the shade holder.
