drbirkett Hi-I am 5’4”, a 34c bra so 35” around bust, 28” waist (sadly the narrowest part) and my hips are 36”. Would this dress fit or be too big/small? It’s the perfect dress if it is the correct size!

marlercarla Yes I am also 5’4” and 34/36C with almost the same measurements. It is extremely stretchy and so very flattering. I loved the fit! Wore it as mother of the bride.

drbirkett @marlercarla is it possible to put a tape under armpit and measure to other side? Then do waist and hip? I have a similar style (kind of compression dress with the folds that I love) and if this one has same measurements it will work. Sorry to ask but Posh can be brutal!

marlercarla It says it’s 72% poliammidica and 28% elastan It’s that scuba fabric which I found very forgiving. Shows no lumps or bumps.

marlercarla The top section is double fabric. No zippers or buttons etc. just pulls on

drbirkett @marlercarla so I looked through some reviews on Rent the Runway for a similar Chiara dress and it would lean me to a size 4 but the reviews are kind of mixed for both the 4 and 6- Is this dress easily alterable via inside seams? Can you tell from looking at dress?

drbirkett Sorry for the many messages-this is my fourth and final daughter’s wedding and this dress would be so perfect! I left a message with Sax Fifth Ave store to see if they can help me with sizing and let me know if dress can be altered if needed. Please keep me posted on your end and I will hopefully have an answer by mid week from them! Thanks for your patience and help. Your wedding looked beautiful!

marlerkc @drbirkett I don’t have a problem with you trying it and returning to me if it’s allowed. Yes there are seams so I think it could be altered. But I really do think it’s a fabric where this 6 could fit a 4,6,8 with its stretch. Does that make sense?

marlerkc @drbirkett I think if you receive it and want to return it, you would request a return and I’d need to accept it and then they give you a label. Within the 3 days so the funds would not have been sent to me
