j_abrahams I’m a 8.5 always and they fit snug but will stretch. For me the 9 was too big. So I guess true to size for me. Hope that helps

j_abrahams No worries. Length wise 8.5 was perfect for me so true to size. They are a narrow shoe so for my wider feet they were snug at first but since they are leather that part stretched and now they are perfect. So my advice is If you are a true 9 the length should be good. If you have narrow feet then also fine. Wider feet might take a minute to break in.
